Step into her trainers!

Did you know that in 2008 the CEO of Nike, Mark G. Parker earned more than 7 million US dollars? It is estimated it would take an Indonesian worker producing for Nike more than 6,000 years to earn this amount.

Step into her trainers is new online resource designed to help us learn more about human rights issues in the garment industry in a fun and interactive way. Created by UK-based advocacy organisation Labour behind the Label, Step into her Trainers explores questions about the sportswear you buy and the workers across the world who make it.

[singlepic id=133 w=320 h=240 float=right]The resource includes quizzes, real life accounts from garment workers, a day in the life of a t-shirt and a special section for design students. It also features the unfair factory game —a fun online game that simulates the high pressure conditions inside factories.
