Want to know more about what it’s really like in West Africa at the moment?

Oxfam Australia’s media coordinator for international projects and emergencies, Chee Chee Leung, has just landed in Dakar, Senegal, and will soon be visiting areas affected by the current food crisis.

While she’s there, she’ll be posting video updates from the field, providing a firsthand insight into how Oxfam is working with vulnerable communities to
provide emergency relief and longer-term coping strategies.

Recorded yesterday on a dusty Dakar street, Chee Chee’s first video dispatch gives us a quick rundown of the situation in West Africa and what Oxfam is doing there.
