Submit your best recipe for the chance to be included in our exclusive cookbook
Fancy yourself a bit of a foodie? Know how to bring out the best in humble vegetables like eggplant, radishes, beetroot and spinach?
Well, now’s your chance to flaunt your culinary prowess!
To help draw attention to our Stop Hunger Appeal, we’re producing a special online cookbook of healthy, vegetable-based recipes, entitled Stop Hunger, Start Cooking. Along with recipes generously contributed by leading Australian food bloggers and celebrity chefs such as Neil Perry, Justine Schofield and Junior MasterChef‘s Bliss twins, we’re inviting you – our supporters – to submit your most inventive, original recipes for possible inclusion in the cookbook.
Spots are limited, so this is a super-exciting opportunity for aspiring Masterchefs to get their name out there while supporting Oxfam’s efforts to tackle global hunger. We look forward to receiving your tasty creations…

With the help of supporters like you, Oxfam is supporting women in Sri Lanka to start home gardening businesses and grow their way out of poverty. With the right seeds, tools and knowledge, women like Chandrani are creating successful vegetable gardens, cultivating exactly the kind of veges we mentioned above: beans, capsicum, beetroot, spinach, radish and more.
Not only are they growing enough veges to feed their families, but they’re able to sell the surplus and earn a livelihood in the process.
