Love food? Hate the fact that 1 in 8 people still go hungry every single day? Be a #foodhero!

The global food system is broken. Despite the world producing enough food for everyone, 1 in 8 people go hungry. Extreme weather events. Changing weather patterns. Land grabs by powerful companies leaving poor men and women hungry and homeless. A lack of support from governments for small-scale farmers. These are some of the deep injustices in our food system that cause millions to go hungry.

Luckily, a better food future is possible but we need your help. Become a #foodhero and join a growing movement of people who are working to create a world where everyone has enough to eat.

So what exactly is a #foodhero?

A #foodhero is someone who cares about the fact that 1 in 8 people go hungry and wants to do something about it. Someone who is taking big or small steps to help grow a better future for everyone. Someone who is ready to ask big companies and governments to tackle climate change and hunger.

It’s easy to become a #foodhero. You don’t need to leap across tall buildings in a single bound. You don’t need a crazy car full of gadgets or superhuman strength. You don’t even need a cape (although this is optional). All you need to do is care.

Join our growing team of food heroes and get ready to make a difference!
