Gaza’s humanitarian situation is catastrophic, marked by starvation, repeated forced displacements, and the destruction of life-sustaining infrastructure and systems. Israel has intentionally created a chronic shortage of food, water, medicines and basic services like healthcare across Gaza.

This humanitarian crisis has also spread into the West Bank, threatening many more civilians. 

We must act now to support Palestinians in Gaza who are living through a genocide.

Our colleagues in Gaza are working tirelessly to provide life-saving aid in the face of the Government of Israel’s aid blockade and restrictions. This blockade is now being used to justify shutting down nearly all other aid operations in favour of a deadly, military-controlled alternative that neither protects civilians nor meets basic needs. 

Together with our partners on the ground, the Oxfam confederation has managed to reach over 1,461,660 people across Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon with food, water and sanitation services, cash, essential basic items, and protection to the most vulnerable groups. But much more is required.
